Innovations in Care Delivery: Creating the New Culture through Relationship Based Care

Description

Lunder-Dineen is proud to offer free on-demand access to this session, which originally took place during Massachusetts General Hospital's October 2013 International Nursing Symposium entitled Innovation in Care Delivery: Advancing a Professional Practice Environment.

Innovation impacts the professional matrix of interdisciplinary collaboration. Based on a philosophy of Relationship-Based Care, innovation transforms practice to create a healing relationship by enhancing the caregiver's relationships with the patient and family, him- or herself, the environment and his or her colleagues. Interventions that support interdisciplinary collaboration warrant a cultural shift to offer a more holistic approach to care delivery that advances the Institute of Medicine’s six aims for improvement.
